On behalf of the entire Weigand Avenue STEAM Academy staff, I would like to welcome all new and returning Tigers to the 2021-2022 school year. It is an honor to serve as your child’s principal. Your child’s education is at the center of everything we do. Our goal is to ensure that every student is placed on the path to college or career readiness while enjoying the journey. The entire Weigand family did an amazing job during the pandemic. I am happy that the most challenging of times is behind us and look forward to offering a wide variety of high performing classes focusing on the core academics, theater, dance, music and art. Throughout the year, there will be many opportunities for parents and the community to get involved. Parents and guardians can best support and ensure academic success by having the students present in school daily and on time. Additionally, backpacks and folders must be checked daily for homework and important announcements. Let’s continue to work together to help each child reach their full potential.
